Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care for children, adolescents, and adults. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing in 2024, specializing in psychiatric mental health. I bring 17 years of nursing experience across hospital, clinic, and school settings, including five years supporting individuals with autism. I have also served as a nursing instructor.

I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, with a special interest in supporting individuals with autism and their families. As a RUBI-trained practitioner, I help caregivers develop practical strategies to manage challenging behaviors and support their child’s needs.

I am committed to lifelong learning and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized, with kindness at the heart of every interaction. I take time to listen and understand your symptoms, experiences, and goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Together, we develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, practical coping strategies, and coordination with therapists or other healthcare professionals. I explain your options clearly and involve you in decisions, with a focus on improving your well-being and daily functioning. When caring for children, I partner with families to support their child’s individual needs.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will take time to discuss your concerns, symptoms, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will review your health history, medications, and any previous mental health care to better understand your needs. You will have space to ask questions and share what matters most to you. Together, we will discuss treatment options and create a plan, with clear next steps to help you feel supported as you begin care.
