Great to meet you!

I transplanted to Memphis in 2012 after attending Mississippi State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication and played SEC soccer. Soon after, I enrolled in the Counseling Program at the University of Memphis. Since then I have held various roles as a therapist in the community and private practice setting.

My desire as a mental health therapist is to help individuals develop congruence within themselves and connection to others and the world around them. I like to do this by exploring a person’s story and present moment experiences to discover the reason for the individual’s distress and the maladaptive patterns they have used to survive.

My approach to therapy

I will pull from existential, person-centered, somatic, attachment-based, and psychodynamic approaches to help individuals unlock a deeper connection to themselves, heal their wounded parts, and engage life in ways that are purpose filled.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I want to develop a relationship with the client. I will ask questions about their personal history and invite them to tell me the reason they are seeking therapeutic services, but the goal is to establish trust and connection with the client.
