Leanne DeRemer

Leanne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. She has a background in non-profit work in both the US and overseas, as well as over a decade of clinical mental health counseling with both individuals and couples. Leanne loves working with clients who are living or returning from overseas or cross-cultural work, young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, and individuals facing struggles in their everyday life.

Leanne specializes in spirituality and faith, identity formation, challenges in pregnancy and infertility, foster and adoption, mood disorders, OCD, transitions/phase of life, divorce adjustment, grief and loss, and women’s and relationship issues. Leanne uses CBT, existential, and narrative approaches in therapy to help clients rewrite their next steps to be filled with purpose, intentionality, and joy.

Leanne has foundational beliefs in the power of hope, human resiliency, and the ability to know full and complete healing. She believes in the innate and core desire we all have to live into a life of authenticity and strength. You’ll find Leanne to be an empathic and attuned guide to her clients as they recover, discover, or explore the change they are seeking in themselves and around them. Clients will find therapy with Leanne to be challenging, energizing, and full of hope and fun.
