Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed mental health counselor in Florida since 2007. I graduated with honors with an MA in Counseling from Rollins College. I have extensive experience with college counseling, adult individual therapy, hospice care/grief counseling, substance use treatment, and group therapy. I am dedicated to assisting clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, personal identity, guilt/shame, grief, anger management, trauma, and family-of-origin concerns.

PLEASE NOTE: Prospective clients are provided the opportunity to schedule free 15-minute consultations in designated openings on my calendar. I manage all other appointments personally with clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe counseling is both an art and a science and I am committed to blending the healing power of expressiveness, creativity, and self-compassion with thoughtful, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. I encourage prescriptive therapies such as journaling, exploration of individual talents, expressive arts, and reflection in nature. Each client is the expert on her/his/their life and I am honored to be on a journey of discovery and healing with each client.

What you can expect from me

Through personalized interventions, an array of therapeutic tools, and supportive and empathic care, I focus on helping clients discover or restore their strengths, resiliency, positive coping mechanisms, and belief in their ability to manage the challenges in their lives.
