Great to meet you!

As a clinical psychologist specializing in Health Service Psychology, I provide virtual, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and related challenges. We’ll identify the patterns keeping you feeling stuck - whether it’s constant worry, social anxiety, panic, OCD/intrusive thoughts, anxiety during a life transition, or ADHD-related challenges - and build practical, sustainable ways to move forward. Depression can also be addressed when it occurs alongside anxiety.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, practical, and collaborative. I use evidence-based CBT strategies to identify the patterns keeping you feeling stuck, strengthen coping, and promote proactive behaviors that improve functioning and reduce distress. Even small changes can lead to a gradual lifting of symptoms and an improved quality of life.

Those who benefit most from CBT are typically open-minded, goal-oriented, and willing to actively participate in therapy. Instead of rehashing the problem over and over, we identify goals and establish practical strategies to help you get where you want to be.

My work often focuses on anxiety, overthinking, burnout, OCD/intrusive thoughts, ADHD-related challenges, and stress related to life transitions. Virtual CBT is best suited for those who are functioning independently and do not need crisis intervention or intensive services. I'm dedicated to inclusive care for all identities, abilities, and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding you as a whole person, including your current concerns, symptoms, history, strengths, supports, and what you want from therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying both short- and long-term goals, so our work feels focused and relevant to your life.

Because I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, we often start right away with practical strategies - either strengthening coping skills that already work for you or introducing new ways to respond to anxiety, overthinking, stress, or other challenges. The goal is to leave even the first session with greater clarity and a sense of direction.

Note: You must be in Kansas or Missouri during our appointments and attend sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. I am currently scheduling daytime appointments only.
