Great to meet you!

As a clinical psychologist specializing in Health Service Psychology, I provide virtual, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to find the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, whether it's chronic stress, OCD/intrusive thoughts, health-related problems, ADHD challenges, or life transitions, and build practical, sustainable ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, practical, and collaborative. I offer CBT solutions to target the root of your challenges by rewiring negative thinking, enhancing coping, and promoting proactive behaviors to strengthen functioning and reduce distress. Even small change can lead to the gradual lifting of symptoms and improved quality of life. Those who benefit the most from CBT are open-minded, goal-oriented, and willing to actively participate in therapy. Instead of rehashing the problem over and over, we identify goals and establish strategies to get you where you want to be. Virtual CBT is best suited for those with stable mental health, not needing crisis intervention or intensive services. I'm dedicated to inclusive care for all identities, abilities, and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding you as a whole person, including your current concerns, symptoms, history, strengths, supports, and what you want from therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying both short- and long-term goals, so our work feels focused and relevant to your life. Because I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, we often start right away with practical strategies - either strengthening coping skills that already work for you or introducing new ways to respond to stress, overthinking, or other challenges. The goal is to leave even the first session with greater clarity and a sense of direction. Note: You must be in Kansas or Missouri during our appointments. I am only scheduling daytime appointments at this time.
