Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed psychiatric nurse practitioner with training from Columbia University and Frontier Nursing University. My background includes psychiatric nursing across all levels of care, as well as six years in community health serving underserved and marginalized populations. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and have extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and eating disorders, along with psychotic disorders, substance use concerns, and personality-related challenges. My training allows me to integrate medical knowledge, functional and nutritional psychiatry, community services, and psychotherapy to provide comprehensive, personalized care.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, whole-person approach grounded in trauma-informed care. My work integrates evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, while also considering how relationships, life experiences, trauma, and access to resources shape mental health. I believe people make the best decisions for themselves when their basic needs are met, so I work closely with clients to ensure treatment plans are practical, empowering, and aligned with their goals. Care may include psychotherapy, medication management, and coordination of specialty services when helpful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we take time to understand your story, strengths, and current concerns. We will explore your goals for treatment and begin developing a plan that reflects your priorities and values. A lot of times, people seek care despite having had previous experiences in the medical system that have caused them to lose trust, and for good reason. I aim to create an environment where you feel respected as a human and expert in your own life, while being actively involved in decisions about your care. Together, we’ll establish clear next steps and begin building a foundation for meaningful, sustainable progress.
