Great to meet you!

Leesa’s goal for every patient is compassionate, open-minded, strength-based care provided in your ideal setting (in-office, remote or combination). With 15 years of clinical experience, Leesa is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) trained therapist who will help you begin to address trauma wounds and major life stressors that can cause symptoms of anxiety, depression, acute/post-traumatic stress, addiction, relational conflict, employment/academic impairment, etc.

My approach to therapy

Since joining Westlake Village Counseling & Trauma Center in 2018, Leesa has relied on a trauma-informed approach to therapy using EMDR (and Brainspotting), along with Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology interventions to assist you to meet the goals of your individualized treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Leesa enjoys working with young adults, couples considering separation/divorce, families in crisis, first responders, and those seeking effective parenting strategies.
