Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Leidys, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, or major life changes.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy working with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I also welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, and military families. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work toward the changes that matter to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I take the time to understand what you are experiencing, what is important to you, and what you would like to change. Together, we will build on your strengths and find practical ways to work through the challenges you are facing.

My approach is warm, empowering, and solution focused. I will support you while also encouraging you to look at things in new ways and take meaningful steps toward your goals. Therapy is personal, so I adjust my approach based on your individual needs and where you are in your journey.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I want to hear what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

There is no expectation that you share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will answer any questions you have, talk with you about your goals, and begin creating a plan together. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about moving forward.
