Great to meet you!

Hello!

My name is Leigh Alanna Todd and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a licensed TBRI Practitioner and a NASW board approved supervisor (LCSW-S).

For the past several years I have supervised a Treatment Foster Care program that served a diverse population of children who were in the foster care system at that time. Before that, I worked in multiple Psychiatric care hospitals helping adolescents, adults, and families. I am a foster/adoptive mom and therefore I have a passion for working with parents who have fostered and adopted.

My approach to therapy

I tend to be a direct therapist who believes in participating with clients while they are in therapy which helps further their progress in therapy. Also, as an "eclectic" styled therapist I tend to pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities to be a client centered therapist. Each client is unique and therefore it is particularly important to approach each session with an open mind and to pull from the appropriate modalities. I am a TBRI and TF-CBT trained clinician with a background in Grief counseling, Brainspotting, Attachment theory, CBT, MI, Solution Focused modalities, as well as working with families who are struggling with neonatal loss.

What you can expect from me

I believe strongly in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is always client centered while combining cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and solution focused modalities. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you!

I look forward to working with you!
