Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to walk this path alone. Having worked as a mental health professional for over 25 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as K-12 schools, supporting students and families, I understand the critical role mental health plays in overall wellbeing. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are and begin working toward healing at a pace that feels right for you. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and the patterns that can make it hard to feel grounded or connected. My goal is to help you better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and discover meaningful pathways toward growth. Together, we will work in a safe, nonjudgmental environment that honors your unique story, goals, and strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and deep respect for your individual lived experience. I integrate evidence-based practices with a person-centered perspective, tailoring our work together to fit your specific needs, strengths, and pace. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I aim to help you understand the root of your challenges and foster long-term emotional well-being. Above all, I view therapy as a partnership where we work side by side to help you build insight and meaningful change that aligns with your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, structured, and low-pressure conversation designed to help us get to know one another. We will gently explore what brings you to therapy, review your history and current challenges, and discuss what you hope to achieve in our work together. I will also walk you through administrative details like confidentiality and practice policies, answer any questions you have, and give you a feel for how our sessions will run. Most importantly, this initial meeting is an opportunity for you to see if my approach feels like the right fit for you before committing to regular sessions.
