Great to meet you!
We, as humans, are not meant to walk through life alone. We are meant to connect with one another, challenge one another, and grow with one another. This means we are also meant to have others with us when we experience pain, heartache, or tragedy. When you step into my counseling space, my goal is to be intentional in the way that I walk with you through whatever murky waters have brought you here. My intention is not to tell you who you are or what your story should say next but to work alongside you as you dive into the deep end and work to find clarity... allowing you the safe space to continue writing your own story.
Throughout my work in residential, school, and outpatient settings, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, groups, and families in a variety of areas including trauma, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, and chemical dependency issues.
I attended the University of Texas at Tyler, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012 and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
