I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing recovery-oriented services in English and Farsi. My primary focus is conducting objective comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for immigration cases and working alongside immigration attorneys in the preparation of psychological evaluations for their clients. In addition to evaluations, I also provide one-on-one mental health services for older teens and young adults who are navigating life transitions, relational challenges, substance use recovery, and immigration-related stress. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a more fulfilling life. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and improved well-being.
I offer both short-term, solution-focused therapy and longer-term support depending on your needs. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and practical care coordination to help you gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create lasting change. I place a strong emphasis on exploring cultural identity and how it shapes beliefs, experiences, and worldview.
Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where their experiences are heard and respected. Together, we set personalized goals such as improving emotional regulation, building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and enhancing relationships. My focus is on providing practical tools and insights that empower clients to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
