LeKeisha Jones

Hello! My name is LeKeisha Jones and I am a licensed psychotherapist. I specialize in working with individuals and couples of all walks of life who are seeking to heal from various mental health concerns, trauma, and relationship and marital issues. I will work with you on navigating through your mental health diagnosis and focus on your healing and wellness. Other issues I commonly work with include communication issues, marital discord, infidelity, sex addiction/compulsion, among other things. I am LGBTQ+ friendly. All are welcomed!

My model is as follows:

1. The first phase includes your first few sessions focusing on exploring your present issues and your history. This is the time we will get acquainted with each other and tailor your sessions based on your needs.
2. The second phase we will focus on cultivating somatic, evidence based coping skills to relieve you from distress and current symptoms. We will continue to process your thoughts, feelings, and symptoms impacting your mental health.
3. The next phase will be all about reframing your narrative. This represents negative self-talk and consistent habits you have formed that has been connected to your issues. You will reframe your story that empowers and support you as you work toward establishing a new experience in life.
4. Finally, we will create a plan of action for you to manage your life and your wellness effectively.

Besides introductions, time will be spent getting to know you and your goals for therapy. You will tell me about what you would like to get from our sessions and your expectations of services. I will ask questions about your background as well as general details about your purpose for therapy.
