Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience working in medical setting supporting children, families, and adults across the lifespan. My background includes helping individuals cope with anxiety, bereavement, infertility, and the emotional impact of chronic and life-threatening medical conditions and major life transitions.

I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and a Certified Child Life Specialist, with additional training in neonatal and pediatric bereavement. In recent years, my work has expanded to include a wellness-focused approach. I am trained as a Level 3 Aromatherapist to support symptom management and am a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, working with clients who are interested in smoking cessation.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone has an important story—and within every story are moments of struggle, growth, and meaningful change. Life’s significant milestones, whether planned or unexpected, often invite us to pause, reflect, and reevaluate how we show up for ourselves and in our relationships. Therapy can be a supportive space to explore these moments with curiosity and compassion.

As a therapist, my role is to support you as you navigate personal growth, emotional challenges, and relationship dynamics. I work collaboratively with clients to foster self-reflection, build insight, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

I do not approach therapy as a one-size-fits-all model. My therapeutic style is flexible and tailored to the individual needs of each client. As an art therapist, I integrate both Creative Arts Therapy and talk therapy, recognizing that some experiences may be difficult to access solely through verbal expression. Creative modalities can offer alternative pathways for processing emotions, thoughts, and patterns of behavior. No artistic experience is required, and sessions are guided by client comfort, preferences, and clinical goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to connect and get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any challenges you’re facing—at a pace that feels right for you.

I’ll walk you through how therapy works, answer your questions, and make space for you to see if this feels like the right fit.
