Great to meet you!

Lenore Neier, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist whose work is grounded in relational and interpersonal psychoanalytic theory. She received her Master of Social Work at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and attended advanced postgraduate training at the Manhattan Institute for Interpersonal Psychoanalysis, where she deepened her focus on the therapeutic relationship as a central agent of change.

My approach to therapy

Lenore works from a psychodynamic perspective, drawing on her specialized training in interpersonal psychoanalysis. In her therapeutic work, Lenore emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship itself as a vehicle for insight and change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space where clients can share his/her concerns and life challenges. We will explore together why the client chose to enter therapy at this point in time, his or her goals for therapy, and what might realistically be accomplished.
