Great to meet you!

It is easy to feel lost, anxious, and on the outside of life--especially when you are dealing with trauma, chronic health problems, or neurodiversity. Both my personal and professional experience has helped me to understand how frequently these conditions are linked and can help you learn the skills to process your emotions while living in these turbulent times.

By curating an individualized safe space and utilizing an eclectic approach through a variety of evidence backed therapies, I will help you manage the anxiety that comes with living with various and intersectional conditions. We will work together to help you learn to work with your specific needs.

These types of therapies include EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, sensory regulation, executive function skills, and other affirming care.

I graduated in 2005 with an undergrad in psychology and in 2009 I earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. I have focused in neurodivergent affirming care and will take the steps necessary to ensure a successful experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy a quiet night home either relaxing with my dogs or working on arts and crafts. Philanthropy is important to my time as well, working with organizations like HRC and various disability advocacy groups. You'll also find me training multiple service dog teams in the area.

My approach to therapy

I work in a very bespoke manner. No one technique works for everyone. I tailor my approach to your needs, goals and personality. I pull from most therapeutic models and theories to provide neurodivergent affirming person centered care. I am trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ect.

What you can expect from me

I work to help clients change their thought processes by helping them come to know themselves and their story better. I aim to help individuals move through their trauma so they can make new choices. I also help those with neurodivergence learn skills and ways to help convert their iOS to Windows based formatting making it easier to live in this society.
