Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Leo W Lavender, LCSW, CODP, and founder of I Can Hear U Now Inc. I earned my Master of Social Work in 2012 (Magna Cum Laude). In 2014, I received my clinical license in social work. In 2022 I received my Doctor of Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from Walden University. My practice, “I Can Hear U Now,” was founded in 1993 and incorporated in 2003. Our mission is to change lives one person at a time. My focus is on creating a positive life perspective by addressing negative responses to mental health functioning. My preferred interventions are cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. I also incorporate spiritual principles and lived experiences. My goal is to empower individuals to live healthy lifestyles. One thing I have found to be true over the years is that we all need someone to talk to and bounce our thoughts off.
