Leonard Crider

Hi, I'm Leonard G. Crider, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in Louisiana offering virtual therapy for adolescents 12 years old and up and adults. I started my journey to help others in 2014, when I went back to school for social work. I graduated with my batchelor's degree in social work from Southeastern Lousiana University in 2018. I attended and graduated in 2019 from graduate school at Louisiana State University with a masters degree in Social work. My work experiences varied with case management, leadership, and direct patient work.

I work with a varied group of clients, and can relate to many different ages, backgrounds, and experiences. I strive to ensure our therapy is rooted in genuine respect for who you are.

My own path has taken me through a wide range of experiences, and that's given me a real appreciation for how differently people move through the world. I bring that understanding into sessions — I'm not here to assume I know your story, I'm here to listen to it and help you make sense of it.

I use a blend of approaches so we can find what actually works for you rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. Some sessions might focus on practical coping skills, others on deeper patterns, and others on reconnecting with your body's signals.

Our first session is some background information so I can learn how to better help you on your journey mixed with some getting to know each other. We will find ways together on how I can help you on your path.
