Leonard Schmelkin

Len Schmelkin is a LICSW who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, in adults and families. Len completed his graduate training at the University of Wisconsin. He is completing his certicated in family therapy at the Intensive Family Therapy Program in Boston.

By exploring clients’ strengths and sense of resilience, he will work individuals and families in a supportive and collaborative way, This approach will help clients maximize their full potential and enhance their daily functioning. He believes making small changes will produce big results. He looks forward to working with you to build a foundation for a better life.

Clients will learn skills to help them take charge and manage their lives in a more satisfying way. He believes in teaching his clients the importance self compassion.
