Leonardo Marin

Leonardo Marin is a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. He received his Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Master Degree in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. He has worked with the most vulnerable populations and finds it rewarding to work with young adults, adults and the elderly. His specialties include assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, adjustment issues, trauma and low self-esteem. Leonardo has a client-centered, insight oriented and supportive approach and his goal is to empower clients to help them focus on their strengths. His primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); however, he also incorporates mindfulness and somatic focused techniques. Leonardo’s empathy, compassion and understanding give way for a positive therapeutic relationship in which he helps his clients achieve their goals.
