Leonel Garciga

Leonel J. Garciga, Licensed, Mental Health Counselor living and practicing in Miami, Florida since 2004. I am bilingual speaking English and Spanish with life experience having raised eight children in a blinded family setting. I can understand the difficulties of raising emotionally health children with today’s challenges that family face. I have a passion for my profession and find people fascinating.

I use various counseling techniques which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Choice Therapy, Client-Center Therapy, Rational Emotional Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interview, and psychodrama techniques. Using diverse models of therapy, I am able to individualize my sessions to meet my client’s needs.
