Great to meet you!

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. My name is Leonette and I am excited to potentially have the chance to meet and work with you. My reasons for becoming a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida are similar to what you may have heard from other health and wellness professionals. However, I do believe I offer a different twist and pleasant shift in my therapeutic approach. Please feel free to contact me for more information, and again thank you for your time.

My approach to therapy

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapist, I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging cognitive distortions, and developing practical coping strategies that support meaningful change. My work is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. When appropriate, I also integrate other evidence-based practices to ensure clients have the tools and support necessary to reach their personal and therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, you can expect to walk away with A Different Perspective—one that reshapes how you see yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you’re navigating. Together, we’ll work toward increasing insight, strengthening coping skills, and building practical strategies you can apply in everyday life. Clients often experience a meaningful shift not only in how they think, but in how confidently and effectively they manage their day-to-day functioning.
