Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that each person’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and marital concerns, family conflict, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and communication difficulties. I am especially passionate about helping clients develop healthier coping skills, establish boundaries, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and gain a greater understanding of themselves.

My therapeutic style combines empathy, honesty, and practical strategies that clients can apply outside of the therapy room. I believe therapy is not only a place to process difficult experiences but also an opportunity to recognize strengths, identify patterns, and create meaningful change.

My goal is to meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. Whether you are experiencing a difficult season, working through relationship challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, you do not have to navigate the process alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I meet clients where they are while also gently challenging them to recognize patterns, explore new perspectives, and make changes that support their emotional well-being.

I use an integrative approach, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness while tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, communication difficulties, boundary-setting, and challenges with emotional regulation. When working with couples and families, I focus on improving communication, identifying unhealthy patterns, strengthening emotional connections, and developing healthier ways to navigate conflict.

While I provide support and encouragement, I also believe meaningful growth sometimes requires having difficult conversations. My goal is to balance compassion with accountability while helping clients build confidence, develop healthier coping skills, and create lasting changes that align with the life and relationships they want.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace. My priority is to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship and to understand what brought you to therapy, what you are currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

We will discuss your concerns, relevant experiences, strengths, and current support system while identifying areas you would like to improve. Together, we will begin developing realistic and meaningful goals that are specific to your needs. These may include improving communication, managing anxiety or stress, developing healthier coping skills, establishing boundaries, strengthening relationships, or increasing emotional awareness and confidence.

You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, clarify your needs, and begin creating a plan that helps you feel supported and empowered as you move forward.
