Great to meet you!

Do you struggle with impulse control? Feel weighed down by depression or stuck in coping patterns that no longer serve you? Do you find yourself reacting to triggers in ways that don’t align with who you want to be, then feeling frustrated or self-critical afterward? When anxiety and racing thoughts take over, does decision-making feel overwhelming or paralyzing, leaving you feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward? Are you in an intimate relationship, friendship, or family system where honoring your boundaries feels difficult, respect feels inconsistent, or you want to shift the dynamic but aren’t sure where to begin?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, I may be a strong fit for the kind of support you’re seeking. Together, we can work toward deepening self-insight and awareness, expanding your coping skills toolkit, and fostering growth and meaningful progress toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is affirming, culturally responsive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed, grounded in warmth, curiosity, and nonjudgment. I integrate a range of modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. In addition to individual therapy, I offer parent coaching for those raising teens, as well as solution-focused therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention services.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, collaborative, and low-pressure space. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, history, strengths, and current challenges, while also making space for what feels most important to you in the moment.

We’ll review logistics, boundaries, and confidentiality, and I’ll share how I tend to work therapeutically so you have a clear sense of what to expect moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a sense of whether this feels like a good fit for you.
