Great to meet you!

Welcome to my page! I know that life is sometimes just too hard or stressful to manage by yourself. It can be a relief to talk with someone who can help you work through your stress, to hear other perspectives and to help to make adjustments to face life's challenges. I believe that a trusting and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, in a warm and safe environment, can be essential to confronting and overcoming life's difficulties.I have over 20 years experience working in high schools and private practice with teens and adults. I enjoy getting to know my clients and the strengths and struggles that they bring to the table. I work with a team approach with my client to identify and bring their goals to fruition.

My approach to therapy

My specialties include anxiety, depression, transitions, relationship issues. I work with clients with a history of trauma. I like to explore with my clients their approach to change and will work with them at their pace. I use an individualized approach, with a mix of cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, family, supportive therapy, EMDR and mindfulness all depending on the client's needs and is a warm and supportive space.

What you can expect from me

In my first session we will spend the time getting to know each other and exploring what my clients seeks from the therapy as well as expectations of the therapy process. We will work to identify goals and discuss strengths that you as the client bring as well as tools that I can share to accomplish your goals.
