Great to meet you!

My name is Leslie Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in San Francisco, California and Texas and work with clients in both states via telehealth. My experience includes 20 years in the clinical psychotherapy and professional counseling arena, working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions and complex trauma.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm and compassionate, with an emphasis on the importance of providing a safe, strength-based, and non-judgmental space. I combine my therapeutic techniques with mindfulness and a sense of humor. Methods that guide my practice are a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral( CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical (DBT), Psychodynamic, Mindfulness-based and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

I want to hear from you about what you want from this therapy journey and the goals you wish to accomplish. Together we identify cutting edge evidence-based tools to help you cope with barriers to your life's goals. We work for change, growth and acceptance that is both affirming and liberating. .
