Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NJ, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY with more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I’ve worked as a school counselor for the NYC Department of Education. Over the past 10 years, I’ve also worked with individuals and families as a private mental health practitioner. Assisting families to move past break ups through conscious dialogue and bridging the divide is a primary focus of my practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I view my approach as eclectic, client centered, and process focused, and tend to employ the technique that best fits the situation. Spiritual counseling, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based approaches are paramount in helping clients to achieve a renewed since of hope. Focusing largely on the here and now, helps to bring about lasting changes. The concept being, that we can change the way we think in order to feel and behave in a more productive manner.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe it’s important to focus largely on the here and now in order to address the immediate issue at hand. Helping clients to identify these issues in a safe, caring, solution focused, goal oriented environment is my goal. In doing so, clients will achieve a renewed since of hope, placing them back on a path to success.
