Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm really glad you're here. Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming- but when you find someone who truly gets you, it can make all the difference. My hope is to be that person for you. I'm a first generation Mexican-American therapist, and while most of my sessions are in English, I also speak Spanish and enjoy working with bilingual and bicultural clients. I know how important it is to feel seen and understood, especially when navigating different parts of your identity and life experiences. I work with adults who are facing anxiety, depression, major life changes, grief, substance use, or women's issues

My approach to therapy

My approach is flexible and collaborative- no one-size-fits-all therapy here. I draw from ACT, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered approaches to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.

Most of all, I aim to create a space that feels warm, honest, and supportive- where you can explore things that might feel uncomfortable, without judgement. Together, we'll work toward healing, self-understanding, and growth at a pace that feels right for you. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect.

What you can expect from me

I like to get to know your history with therapy. Some experiences may have been wonderful and those we can use as a guide to do what worked. Some experiences might have been lacking, and we can also use that to improve your experience with therapy this time around. I like to get to know you and will ask you questions. Some, you may want to talk about more than others and that is ok. This is our first time meeting and more will be discussed later. This is our time to get to know each other, and I welcome your questions as well.
