Great to meet you!

Sometimes life brings challenges that are difficult to put into words, especially when you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the emotional weight of infertility. You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed by uncertainty, struggling to manage difficult emotions, or noticing that past experiences continue to affect how you see yourself and relate to others. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, infertility, and other life challenges. These experiences can also overlap with OCD, panic, grief and loss, family difficulties, relationship concerns, or chronic health conditions, particularly when multiple stressors begin affecting your emotional wellbeing at once. With eight years of experience, I believe therapy should offer a place where you can feel understood, recognize your strengths, and explore what you need without fear of judgment. Together, we can work toward greater emotional balance, stronger relationships, and a more compassionate understanding of yourself.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the experiences, relationships, and challenges that have shaped your life. We’ll explore how anxiety, depression, PTSD, infertility, and the other challenges you may be facing are affecting your emotional wellbeing and your ability to feel connected, confident, and grounded. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and practice healthier ways of responding, Trauma Focused CBT to help you process difficult experiences while developing skills to manage their emotional impact, and Internal Family Systems Therapy to help you better understand different parts of yourself with greater curiosity and compassion. Narrative Therapy can help you explore the stories you have developed about yourself and your experiences, while Solution Focused Brief Therapy can help you identify existing strengths and practical steps toward meaningful change. Positive Psychology and strength-based approaches can also help us build on the resources you already have rather than focusing only on what feels difficult. Our sessions will be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs, allowing us to work at a pace that feels comfortable while developing tools you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what has brought you here, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope will feel different in your life. Together, we will establish goals that reflect your priorities and identify a starting point that feels manageable. You can expect me to listen with warmth and curiosity, respect your experiences, and create a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or rushed. Progress may look like feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety, finding healthier ways to respond to difficult emotions, processing trauma at a pace that feels safe, navigating the uncertainty and emotional challenges of infertility, or building stronger connections with the people in your life. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work as your needs evolve. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more understood, more confident in your ability to navigate challenges, and better equipped to move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you. When you are ready, you can schedule your first session with me through Headway.
