Great to meet you!

There's a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from carrying trauma you've never had room to put down, and if that sounds familiar, you're exactly who I work with. Over the past 25 years I've worked with a wide range of people: teens navigating hard transitions, young adults trying to find direction, and adults working through combat trauma, childhood trauma, grief, addiction, and burnout. I'm also a trained LGBTQIA+ affirming provider, and as someone personally at home in that community, I bring both clinical training and lived understanding to that work.

My approach to therapy

Together, we focus on helping you understand where your trauma responses come from and build real tools to move through them, not just manage around them. I specialize in treating trauma, including childhood, combat, criminal assault, and caregiver burnout.

Additionally, I am trained as a “LGBTQ+ affirming provider” along with being personally aware of and at

home in this community. I enjoy helping individuals come to accept and grow in compassion for their

authentic selves. I work best with clients who are ready to be honest, even when it's uncomfortable, and who want a collaborative partner rather than someone handing them a script.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. I want to hear your story in your own words and understand what recovery, peace, or acceptance would actually look like for you. I genuinely admire the strength and survival

strategies of my clients. I aim to equip/empower them to maximize their self-esteem, achieve wellbeing,

and build resilience for challenges ahead. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. If any of this resonates, I'd be glad to talk with you.
