Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is strengths-based, collaborative, and focused on creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical strategies to help you reach your goals. Whether you're navigating a life transition, facing personal challenges, or seeking greater fulfillment, my goal is to support you every step of the way.

I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy when appropriate. IFS helps clients develop a deeper understanding of the different parts of themselves, especially those that may be contributing to emotional distress or making change feel difficult. By fostering self-awareness and self-compassion, this approach can help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

After earning my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver in 1996, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of mental health settings with individuals across the lifespan. With more than 20 years of experience, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor in Colorado.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). By integrating these approaches, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, experiences, and goals, creating a personalized path toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

When we meet, you can expect a collaborative, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we'll build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward the meaningful growth and lasting change you're seeking.

If you're ready to take the next step toward a more fulfilling life, I'm here to support you. Together, we can create the positive change you're looking for.
