Great to meet you!
My approach to therapy is strengths-based, collaborative, and focused on creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical strategies to help you reach your goals. Whether you're navigating a life transition, facing personal challenges, or seeking greater fulfillment, my goal is to support you every step of the way.
I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy when appropriate. IFS helps clients develop a deeper understanding of the different parts of themselves, especially those that may be contributing to emotional distress or making change feel difficult. By fostering self-awareness and self-compassion, this approach can help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
After earning my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver in 1996, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of mental health settings with individuals across the lifespan. With more than 20 years of experience, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor in Colorado.
