Great to meet you!

You may be the person everyone depends on the one who takes care of others and keeps going even when you feel overwhelmed. I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy in English and Spanish. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship or parenting challenges, family stress, and major life changes. My style is warm, honest, and down-to-earth, and I want therapy to be a place where you can finally focus on yourself without feeling judged.

My approach to therapy

I do not believe therapy should feel like someone is analyzing you or giving you advice from a textbook. I want our sessions to feel like honest conversations that help you understand yourself and recognize what may be keeping you stuck. I use CBT when thoughts and patterns can be challenged, but I also use ACT because not everything in life can be changed or fixed. Sometimes the work is learning to accept what is outside of your control without allowing it to control your life. I will affirm your strengths, be honest with you, and help you find practical ways to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will include some questions and mental health screenings to help me understand what has been happening in your life. I know that may sound formal, but many people begin therapy knowing something does not feel right without knowing how to explain it. You do not need to have the right words or share your entire story at once. I will guide the conversation. Together, we will begin making sense of what you are experiencing and identify realistic goals for therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about what comes next.
