Leticia DeOliveira

Hello, my name is Leticia DeOliveira I am a Brazilian-American licensed mental health counselor with a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s emotional challenges. My cultural background allows me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing a compassionate and understanding space for healing and growth.

My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Boston University and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. I work with adolescents and adults, my specialty is treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, attachment issues, and relationship dynamics.

I use evidence based therapeutic techniques with a person centered style, aiming to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and build stronger relationships with themselves and others. I believe the best relationship that you can have is with yourself.

With encouragement and challenge, I gently pushes my clients out of their comfort zones to expand their window of tolerance. This balance of warmth and challenge helps clients build resilience, increase emotional capacity, and ultimately achieve their therapeutic goals.

Clients who work with me will leave sessions equipped with coping skills to manage anxiety and depression. They will also learn how to reframe negative thinking and behaviors, shifting toward a healthier mindset. Additionally, clients will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their unique strengths, fostering personal growth and self-awareness.
