Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, families, and couples navigating life’s challenges. My specialties include supporting people struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship stress, family conflict, and trauma. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I use an eclectic approach—drawing from multiple evidence-based therapies to meet your unique needs. Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and supported as we work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be flexible and responsive to each person. My style is conversational, supportive, and goal-focused. While I rely on CBT and EMDR as foundational approaches, I also integrate mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, and family systems work as needed. I see therapy as a partnership—you bring your lived experience, and I bring tools, strategies, and guidance. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build new skills for resilience, healing, and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you—your story, your strengths, and your goals. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and support system, and I’ll share how we can work together to address them. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear idea of what our work together can look like.
