Great to meet you!

Through complex life difficulties, I learned approaches which helped me to navigate through grief, depression, anxiety, and the symptoms of PTSD. I was ordained as a zen buddhist priest, and obtained a clinical license as a social worker (LCSW) in order to help others.

My approach to therapy

You're the expert on you, I can only help through listening with an attentive heart. I can offer some insight and perspective from my experience. Mindfulness, humor, and modern neuroscience are useful as well.

What you can expect from me

Learning to be kind to yourself will help you to self-regulate. Building good habits, with warmth, humor, and compassion for yourself are learnable skills. Treating yourself as you would a good friend is a reasonable and attainable goal. Resilience is a prime factor in good mental health.
