Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and also have worked in government and law enforcement agencies. My experiences brought to light the lack of resources out there for the community and first responders, so why not be apart of the solution.

My professional career and passions have led me to work with individuals who have been incarcerated and on probation, victims of crime, sex offenders, substance abuse and others who experience complex trauma. I have continued working in the field with first responders and have a specific passion for working with those who experience job-related trauma exposure, know the dark realities of certain sides of life, and develop those unique skills of managing these on-the-job stresses. No fear, I am comfortable with gallows humor and understand the unique ways these individuals process stress.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges they may be facing and step into relief from what they feel may be holding them back. Various modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman, ISP, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, and trauma-informed approaches to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs.

Identifying and addressing life experiences that feel like gunk in your life, can create a ripple effect into other areas of your life. I believe in helping individuals grow by creating a tailored treatment plan of various therapy techniques to support them and empower them to overcome their challenges.

Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies that support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive and honest environment with some humor in the mix, where we work together toward the changes you want to see in your life. During our sessions, we'll explore what's contributing to your current challenges while identifying strengths and tools that can help you move forward.

One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing someone who was carrying so much that caused them such distress look like a weight has be lifted and they have so much relief after trauma processing. If you're up for working through the gunk and feeling more like you again, feel free to reach out to me.
