Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey, with over a decade of experience supporting children, individuals, and families across a variety of settings. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, and culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy that centers compassion, collaboration, and trust. As a clinician-scholar with research experience, I bring an evidence-informed and solution-focused approach to my practice, helping clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and move toward healing and meaningful change. I am deeply committed to creating a supportive space where kindness, empowerment, and hope guide the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients from a warm, welcoming, and compassionate place, making it a priority for each person to feel seen, accepted, and valued. I believe that when people learn to honor their own worth and recognize themselves as important, they are better able to show up as their healthiest and most authentic selves in their relationships and daily lives. My approach is solution-focused while also exploring how past experiences have shaped beliefs, patterns, and the lens through which clients view themselves and the world. Together, we work to identify the thoughts and internal narratives that are no longer serving them, clear those filters, and create space for healing, growth, and change. I also incorporate positive psychology to help clients recognize their strengths, reconnect with the best parts of themselves, and build a more empowered and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, what you need, and whether we are the right fit to work together. I believe your time is valuable, and therapy should not feel like a place where you have to wait to see if the relationship works. I want you to be clear about your needs, advocate for yourself, and choose what is best for you from the start. During that first meeting, I complete an intake to better understand your history, concerns, and goals. By the second session, we begin more focused work and start building a plan around the changes you want to make.
