Lia Moses

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of clinical experience. I hold a degree in Psychology and Psychoanalysis from Argentina and a master’s degree in Psychology from the United States. For the past 15 years, I have also worked as a clinical supervisor, mentoring and guiding other mental health professionals. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, and couples therapy. Fluent in Spanish, I offer culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish through virtual appointments and in-person sessions in South Miami.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each client’s needs. I combine the insight of psychoanalysis with goal-oriented cognitive therapy, helping clients better understand themselves while developing effective strategies for meaningful change. I support individuals in recognizing their strengths, managing depression and anxiety, and working toward clear, attainable goals. In couples therapy, I help partners improve communication, build mutual respect, and strengthen their relationships.

Your first session will take place in a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly about your concerns. We will explore what brought you to therapy, discuss the challenges you are experiencing, and identify the changes you would like to make. Together, we will begin developing a personalized action plan based on your needs, strengths, and goals.
