Lia Turchetta-cooper

My name is Lia Cooper. I am a psychotherapist with graduate degrees in Personality and Social Psychology and in Clinical Social Work from Rhode Island and Smith College. I have also completed doctoral course work from Simmons College. I have been in private practice for over 20-years.

My philosophy is to be kind, direct and caring. I work mostly with adults, couples and groups. I specialize in mood disorders and trauma, eating issues, health and weight including stress management and overall improvement of mental health. I have a certified Professional Pet Therapy dog (Lil man) that I often work with.

A better understanding of themselves and why they may not feel well or off balance, as well as the steps they may need to address and take to feel better.
