A bit about my approach to therapy

Dr. Zaidel uses a collaborative and structured approach to understanding his clients' difficulties and treating their symptoms using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Dr. Zaidel has uses his background in clinical research to inform a structured approach to CBT. His focus areas include stress management, interpersonal difficulties, anger management, impulse control, frustration tolerance, attention/concentration difficulties associated with ADHD, and problems with self esteem.

What you can expect from our first session

Dr. Zaidel creates a comfortable and safe environment to really connect with clients in order to understand his clients' difficulties and factors that contribute to them. He guages clients' readiness to address problem areas before arriving at goals for therapy. In his approach to CBT, he views the client as the expert in his or her own symptoms and helps clients to develop strategies and skills to address their problem areas.
