Great to meet you!

Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face them alone. At Life's Challenges: A Mental Health Consultant Firm, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps adults and older adults improve their mental health, restore hope, and achieve lasting wellness. My name is Dr. Lieutenant Superville, Ph.D., PMHNP-BC, APRN. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years of psychiatric nursing experience, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals in forensic, inpatient, outpatient, and veteran healthcare settings.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual. I believe effective mental health care starts with understanding your unique experiences, concerns, and goals. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, accurate diagnosis, psychotherapy, medication management when appropriate, and education to help you make informed decisions about your care. I treat every client with dignity, respect, and compassion while focusing on long-term wellness and improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to treatment. I'll conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review your medical and mental health history, explore your current symptoms, and talk about your goals for care. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns, and participate in creating a treatment plan that fits your needs. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of the next steps and a plan designed to support your journey toward healing and emotional well-being.
