Great to meet you!

About Your Provider

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and High Conflict Certified Consultant who specializes in supporting individuals navigating post-separation abuse and high-conflict divorce. I know how isolating and overwhelming these experiences can be, and my goal is to help you feel safer, stronger, and more grounded as you move through this chapter of your life.

With advanced training as a Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice, along with specialized certification through One Mom’s Battle, I bring together medical expertise and trauma-informed coaching to support both your emotional and physical well-being. I believe healing works best when the whole person is cared for—mind, body, and lived experience—so our work is practical, compassionate, and empowering.

I am licensed in the State of Utah and have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. No matter where you are in your journey, I am committed to creating a space where you feel heard, validated, and respected. Together, we focus on helping you move from simply surviving to feeling more confident, capable, and in control of your life again.

My approach to therapy

Approach to Care

My practice is devoted to supporting individuals who are navigating the emotional and psychological challenges of trauma, stress or in high-conflict relationships. I understand how overwhelming and destabilizing these experiences can be, and I provide care that is both compassionate and highly focused on your unique needs.

Using a trauma-informed, holistic approach, I integrate thoughtful psychiatric care, education, and coaching to support healing, stability, and long-term well-being. I work with clients who are recovering from grief, trauma, or from the impact of high-conflict divorce and post-separation abuse, helping them make sense of what they’ve been through and begin moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Our work may include medication management when appropriate, along with practical tools for setting healthy boundaries, regulating emotions, rebuilding self-trust, and reconnecting with your inner strength. The goal is not just to help you cope, but to support you in feeling grounded, empowered, and in control of your life again—after prolonged exposure to conflict, coercion, or emotional harm.

You don’t have to face this alone. This is a space where your experiences are taken seriously, and where healing and growth are possible.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is a warm, welcoming space created just for you—a place where you can feel safe, heard, and respected. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, and you will never be asked to share anything before you’re ready. This time is about getting to know you, understanding what you’re going through, and beginning a partnership focused on your well-being.

Whole-Person (Mind–Body) Care

I take a holistic approach to your care, honoring the connection between your emotional, mental, and physical health. Along with thoughtful psychiatric assessment and treatment, I may gently introduce tools such as mindfulness or grounding techniques to help calm stress, increase emotional balance, and support you both in sessions and in your daily life. These practices are simple, flexible, and meant to help you feel more centered and supported.

Working Together on Your Goals

We’ll talk about what’s been happening in your life, what’s been helpful (or not) in the past, and what you hope to change or improve. Together, we’ll begin shaping a plan that reflects your goals, values, and unique needs.

Trauma-Informed, Empowering Care

Your story matters, and it will be met with care, compassion, and respect. You remain in control of your care at every step. Any recommendations—whether medication, education, or supportive strategies—will always be explained clearly so you can make informed choices that feel right for you.

By the end of your first session, you can expect to leave with a clearer sense of what’s ahead, a few helpful tools to support you, and the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
