Great to meet you!

I'm Lila — a licensed clinical social worker based in Massachusetts. I've worked in residential, community, and inpatient settings, which means I've sat with people in some of their hardest moments. I specialize in anxiety, grief, life transitions, trauma, and the kinds of struggles that don't always have a clean label — feeling stuck, disconnected, or like you're running on empty. I work especially well with adults navigating identity, culture, or family dynamics that feel complicated to explain to someone who hasn't lived it. My style is warm, empowering, and solution-oriented — I'll be honest with you, and I'll also be in your corner.

My approach to therapy

I tailor my approach to what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all method. I draw most often from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and narrative approaches — meaning we look at both your thought patterns and the stories you've built around yourself over time. I believe insight alone isn't enough; we'll also work on building practical skills you can use between sessions. Sessions feel like a real conversation. I'll ask good questions, push back when it's useful, and help you connect the dots between what you're feeling and what you want your life to look like.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting oriented — not a checklist. I'll want to understand what's been going on and what made now the right time to reach out. We'll talk about what's felt hard, what's felt important, and what you'd like to be different. By the end, you'll have a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. I won't have everything figured out in session one, and that's okay — good therapy takes a little time to find its footing. What I can promise is that you'll leave feeling heard, not evaluated.
