Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for taking a chance on therapy, reaching out is one of the hardest parts. I am a Texas State University graduate. I have experience in multiple settings including schools, hospitals, inpatient treatment facilities, and group practices. This has allowed me to work with diverse humans and engage in many different therapeutic styles. I have a passion for creating space for my community of color, ADHD, and LGBTQIA. I support adolescents, adults, and parent clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting the client where they are and holding space for growth. I take a holistic approach to support and look at the entire system. I utilize cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, family systems, solution-focused, trauma-focused, and strength-based approaches. I understand that one approach to therapy does not work for everyone’s needs, so in collaboration with the client, I assess the best method for each individual and adjust as needed.

What you can expect from me

Finding a fitting therapist is a big part of your success in therapy, so if it does not initially work out, remember you are valid in finding a suitable match. Our initial meeting will be a 15-minute consultation to ensure we are compatible with each other to maximize your therapeutic experience. Reach out if you find yourself aligning with my style, I look forward to supporting and growing with you!
