Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I have worked in outpatient settings and most recently at Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD working with the Rapid Response team where I work with individuals experiencing active mental health crisis. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, and family and relationships.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to first create an environment that is safe, warm and comfortable for you. Secondly, I work with you to create your goals and align them with my clinical expertise to ensure that you achieve your goals during our therapeutic journey. I use a combination of CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy approaches.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to ensure that you walk away from our sessions feeling confident that you will achieve your set goals for therapy. I will endeavor to challenge you but will ensure to provide you with a soft landing as you embark on your journey towards therapeutic healing.
