Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Liliana Rusansky Drob. I I am a clinical psychologist who treats younger and older adults virtually and in-person. I speak fluent Spanish (my native language) and apply my bi-cultural experience to the enrichment of everyday life. I hold a degree in Clinical Psychology which informs me of issues related to identity, early patterns of relationships and trauma. I also specialize in the management of anxiety, depression, life decisions and difficulty with interpersonal relations. I work with individual psychotherapy. I do not take couples or children at this time

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic approach to treatment tailored to the quality of emotional and behavioral problems presented by the person seeking help. I am guided by the patient’s personality, wishes and what they feel more comfortable with. However, I do not hesitate to pose questions regarding their belief systems and negative behaviors that have not worked in the past.

What you can expect from me

First I listen patients present their problem and the solutions and outcomes they experienced prior to their visit. From then on, we work together in defining the best path to manage their difficulties and updating our goals. Problems range from everyday life issues to severe mental illness and it is important to examine all the options and what the patient is willing to do before setting up a plan. Therapy is both, a liberating path but also challenging and at times painful.
