Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who earned my master's degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and my doctorate in clinical psychology from Spalding University. I have experience working across a range of settings, including residential substance use treatment programs, correctional facilities, and community mental health centers. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals struggling with substance use, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and a variety of other concerns.

My approach to therapy

My primary goal in therapy is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable confronting challenges head-on. I draw from cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, schema therapy, and a humanistic perspective. In practice, this means prioritizing a strong therapeutic relationship while equipping you with the tools to build a healthy, meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

Many of my client comes to therapy feeling hesitant or unsure about the process. I prioritize meeting you where you are and working collaboratively to develop meaningful treatment goals. Our first session will focus on getting to know one another, exploring what brought you to therapy, and clarifying what you hope to gain from our work together.
