Great to meet you!

Something in you knows the life you’re living isn’t the whole story. Maybe you’ve built the career, maintained the relationships, and done everything you were supposed to do—but privately you feel a pull toward something more honest. I work with people who can feel that pull but don’t yet know how to follow it. Many are caught in intense relationship patterns, trauma bonding, or cycles of emotional highs and crashes. Therapy becomes a place to slow down, understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and begin building a life that actually feels like your own.

My work focuses on helping people reconnect with their instincts. Together we look at relationship dynamics, nervous system patterns, and the deeper truths you may have been overriding for years. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about clearing the obstacles that keep you from trusting your own inner authority.

Before becoming a therapist I spent 13 years as an artist and have been divorced twice—experiences that shaped how I sit with people in heartbreak and change. My background includes meditation teaching, somatic work, and time living at Ram Dass’s home in Maui serving their nonprofit community.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on helping people reconnect with their own inner knowing. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply sensitive to the truth of their lives—but they may feel stuck in relationship patterns, emotional intensity, or expectations that no longer feel aligned.

In our work together, we slow things down and pay attention to what your nervous system, emotions, and instincts are already telling you. We look at relational patterns, attachment dynamics, and the ways you may have learned to override your own wisdom in order to keep peace, be loved, or survive difficult experiences.

I draw from mindfulness, somatic awareness, and relational therapy to help you understand yourself more clearly. Therapy with me is not about fixing you—it’s about helping you remove the obstacles that keep you from trusting your own direction and living a life that actually feels true.

Many of the people who find me are in the middle of a deeper life transition—realizing that the patterns, relationships, or roles they’ve been living are no longer the life they want to continue.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get oriented together. Many people arrive with a lot on their minds, so we usually begin by taking a moment to settle into the space and help your nervous system slow down.

From there we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what feels most alive or difficult in your life right now. I’ll ask questions, listen closely, and help you begin noticing the patterns or dynamics that may be shaping your experiences.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or have the “right words.” The first session is simply a place to start telling the truth about what’s happening and to see whether working together feels like a good fit. Most people leave feeling a little more grounded and with a clearer sense of where we might go next.
