Great to meet you!

Are you struggling with depression, recent changes in your life, anxiety, relationship issues? I can help you navigate through this difficult emotions. My name is Lina Ortiz and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I graduated from Universidad del Norte (Colombia) with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and then proceeded to earn my Masters Degree at Nova Southeastern University.

My approach to therapy

My main goal as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is to help you be more successful at identifying any issues that you feel are affecting you. To do this, we are going to spend valuable time getting to know each other in order to be able to get a snapshot of your life; what’s working well and what’s not working so well. Before you leave this initial appointment, we’ll have the information you have given me and together we’ll come up with a set of recommendations that seem doable.

What you can expect from me

I work alongside my patients so that they can relief from symptoms, maintain or enhance daily functioning and improve their quality of life.
