Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I use CBT and TF‐CBT to help clients understand their patterns, build healthier coping skills, and move toward the life they want.

I bring a diverse background to my work — I’m a former U.S. Army combat veteran and an entrepreneur who has owned multiple businesses. Those experiences taught me a lot about resilience, stress, leadership, and navigating major life changes, and they shape the way I show up for my clients.

My style is straightforward, supportive, and grounded in real‐world understanding. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients in a way that is supportive, collaborative, and focused on growth. We explore what’s happening in your life, identify the patterns that are causing distress, and use CBT and TF‐CBT techniques to create meaningful change. I help clients build insight, develop healthier responses, and practice new skills both in and outside of session.

I believe therapy should feel safe, predictable, and grounded. My role is to help you feel understood while also challenging you in ways that support progress. Clients often tell me they appreciate my steady presence, direct communication, and practical approach.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. I’ll invite you to share what’s been happening in your life, what you’re hoping to change, and what you need most right now. We move at your pace — there’s no expectation to tell your whole story at once.

I use a blend of CBT and TF‐CBT to help you understand your patterns and begin developing healthier coping skills. Clients often describe the first session as steady, supportive, and grounding. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and a better understanding of how we’ll work together.
